Michael G. Palladino, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Palladino's interests lie in the areas of resident teaching, education and clinical research involving the diabetic foot. Currently he is an Assistant Professor, Chief of Podiatry in the Department of Orthopaedics and Podiatric Residency Program Director within the Division of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery at UTHSCSA. Dr. Palladino completed his surgical residency at Northlake Community Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. After being in private practice for nineteen years, Dr. Palladino served as the associate residency director at the Yale / VA Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in New Haven, Connecticut. He was then offered the position of Research Director at the North American Center for Limb Preservation where he was involved with clinical trials dealing with antibiotics, investigational topical drugs and medical devices for the treatment of diabetic foot wounds. Dr. Palladino is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
